Thinking Out Loud {3/19} Big News

Good morning!!! It's an early post his morning because I am so excited to share some news with you all. I haven't talked about it too much on the blog because I didn't want to jinx it, but we FINALLY sold out house!!!! It's such a huge relief!! The last few weeks have been pretty busy and stressful trying to take care of all of the repairs for the buyers, but as of 5:30 last night, we no longer own our house with the number of 1310. So now, some thoughts on it...

1. Elation - after 8 months on the market, it's so nice to have sold the house and be out from under the mortgage payment.

2. Relief - for a little while, we weren't sure if the sale was going to go through. There were a few major problems that they found during the inspection and we were worried they were going to keep us from selling the house.

3. Sadness - that is the house we bought after the wedding and we brought both of our babies home from the hospital to that house, so it will always have a special meaning to us.

Overall, we are so relieved to have sold it. We lived there for almost 8 years. We had a lot of ups and downs while living in that house and we will definitely miss it, but not the extra mortgage payment every month!!
